Ron Zheng’s ‘Leaving My Found Eden.’ Snapshots of life and the encounters with loss, regret, missed opportunities and separation from loved ones that we all experience in our lives. Poetography is a new art form merging traditional Chinese and Japanese cultures with modern western culture. Since ancient times in China it has been common to apply poetry in a decorative fashion to black ink paintings. With poetography the poetry is merged with photographic imagery to create a dynamic tension that infuses new meanings into the words and images.

The poetogaphy works are beautiful. The poems are so powerful. I never realized that such simple words can be so meaningful. A very emotional experience. I highly recommend people see this show.
