This is sure to be one of the best art night’s yet as the street will be closed to traffic in the Junction in preparation for the West Seattle Summer Fest that starts the following day. We will be hosting local West Seattle photographer, Linda Fornero at the bin. Since 1990, Linda has been observing the beauty of West Seattle and beyond from behind the lens of her camera. Her photography is a self expression of her inner love and respect for the natural environment; capturing the zen that arises from being in a natural setting.
While you’re viewing Linda’s work, you can sample some wines from one of our favorite Oregon winemaking couples, Athena and Stewart Boedecker. They make a myriad of wines together, but each separately make a Pinot Noir based on their individual palates. We will be blind tasting their individual wines….see if you can guess who made which one!
And…drum roll please…to make things even more festive, we will have two different, local musical groups joining us at the bin for the evening. Dave and the Dalmatians, a group of eight guys singing songs from the Croatian coast and beyond will be greeting you outside. Later in the evening, we will again be joined by Reddog, the three piece acoustical string band that shared their musical artistry during the last art walk. Visit their websites to learn more about each band at http://www.daveandthedalmatians.com and http://www.reddogseattle.com
We hope to see you at the bin this Thursday for some great wines, art and live music!
