Wild Rose’s is featuring Janet Palmer’s watercolors – When it comes to music my brother got all the genes in the family while I, alas, can’t carry a tune in a basket (as my mother often pointed out to me). As for dancing I seem to have an overabundance of left feet. However what resonates the most with me is the visual rhythm of life; the natural repetitions of shape, size, line and the beauty of the individual contrasted with the complexity of the whole.

Thus, I look at the world with a head full of obscure songs and visions of myself in tights and tutu, and I see a rhythm and dance in nature’s forms, colors, light and shadow. This is what I try to bring to my work.
