Local artist Jessica Dolence is a Seattle implant who moved from desert landscapes to the west coast in search of water. Upon arrival she began collecting images of local ocean horizons and paired them with her interest in popular hair culture and fashion. These new digital “drawings” are infused with thoughts of water deities and embellishments from the sea.
