Nature Consortium presents local artist Kyle Sturner!
Kyle Sturner is a multi-talented artist, taking on mediums which range from oil painting and photography to music and comedic improvisation. He is a recent Seattleite, after making a cross-country road trip from Chicago. While in Chi-Town, he started out studying Photography and Fine Arts at Columbia College Chicago, then moved on to take classes at Second City, becoming a part of the improvisation community which the town is known for. Since moving to Seattle Kyle has been inspired to dive into a deep-space themed series of oil and acrylic paintings, reflecting upon all of the esoteric and metaphysical questions floating around him in the ethers. Currently, he is writing music for his party band, “Shady but Legit”, printing T-shirts featuring his current artwork, and preparing his next set of paintings, which will feature more animalistic and surreal themes.
We’ll also have live music by Mighty Tiny from 7-8pm!
