Jewelry & Music at Nature Consortium

September 13th WSAW, 2012

Nature Consortium is featuring Musical Guest, Jacque Larrainzar 7-8pm and Artist, Lori Bellamy for ONE NIGHT ONLY!
We are now a drop off for old working cell phones, digital cameras and inkjet cartridges during Art Walk, so bring down your old stuff and let’s get it RECYCLED! Plus new opportunities to get involved as we go into planting season in the Greenbelt.
Artist statement:

“My delight in a cherry tree covered with blossoms and the serenity of a star lit sky both find a place in my work.  I use traditional silver smithing and metalworking techniques to make highly textural, wearable art.  Many of my pieces have moving parts so that wearing my jewelry is a multi – sensory experience.” – Bellamy

Musical Guest 7-8pm :
Jacque Larrainzar interprets traditional and contemporary music from Latin America as well as her own compositions.  From Spanish music from the colonial period to Mexican rock and blues.
