Kimberly Balla Graduated with a BFA from Western Washington University in 2013. Kimberly is entranced by paint and its physical properties. Her work focuses on the fluidic chemical process she has come to know and harness as her own. Her method involves several viscous layers of paint and metallic pigments which emerge and submerge as the chemicals rapidly erode canals throughout the surface. Kimberly focuses on how paint moves and changes on its own and how she can manipulate that change.
