Engrid Hooper at Capers

November 11, 2015
Tomorrow night at West Seattle Art Walk, Capers will have the great pleasure of introducing emerging artist Engrid Hooper.

Artist Bio:

Engrid lives here in West Seattle. In her professional life, Engrid works as a flight attendant. Inspired by the early, dark-morning drives to work, this particular collection, “Rainy Streets”, reflects the mystery of the day’s first hours. Each painting takes shape in the sincerest expression of daily-life beauty. With passion, vision, and great dedication, at the start of each day, Engrid paints.

Engrid Hooper works in watercolor and acrylic and has a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Most recently, Engrid studied with Jennifer Carrasco.

Please come and meet Engrid this Thursday, November 12 from 6-9pm at Capers. Students from Chief Sealth International High School will also be selling their beautifully photographed calendars to raise funds for their Environmental Studies Program.

Come on out and support the neighborhood! And as always, there will be something to sip…
