October Art Walk in Pictures

It was a spooky night in the Junction and beyond for our Halloween-inspired Art Walk! Participating businesses guided art lovers to their exhibits with bloody footprints, glow in the dark footprints, lumenarias, and fun decor and treats once inside. There were so many special events to be part of, in addition to the art: The unveiling of the new Mural Alley, in the California Avenue walk-through passageway! And the third Art of Music performance by Nathan & Roz Duo at John L. Scott. (Editor’s note: Really nice to be inside for this wonderful performance because it was COLD out!).

We welcomed many art lovers in venues from Alki to Arbor Heights, some brand new and some stalwart. Suddenly West Seattle is feeling a little smaller, in a good way.

We want to thank all our generous partners for the support they bring the West Seattle Art Walk – The Office of Rebecca Mitsui, Verity Credit Union, Northwest Art & Frame, Canna West SeattleJohn L. Scott Real Estate,  Sound Credit Union and our media partner West Seattle Blog. Thank you, too, to the all artists, merchants, and restaurants/bars/cafes for making this monthly event happen. To you, art-seeker, thanks for being part of this community.

Here’s a small photo recap of Art Walk night for the month of October by volunteer photographers Todd M., Lora R., and Reeve W. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
