Jim Lopresti:
“I was born and raised in Seattle and while I’ve had no formal art training, I’ve been painting since childhood. I approach painting much the same way one goes about solving a crossword puzzle. A canvas has blank spaces that can be filled in many ways. Put in a letter or a color; it’s right or it’s wrong. If it’s wrong, keep trying until the puzzle is finished.”
Jim Lopresti is the featured artist for the Vue Apartments for April. Jim is a Burien resident and a member of the ARTSWEST Artists Association. He has been an Artwalk participant in the past at Artswest, Alki Arts, Wild Rose, and at Chaco Canyon.
