West Seattle Art Walk Team
Mia Manzulli
West Seattle Art Walk Director (Volunteer)
Mia is an East Coast native with a background in teaching, writing, and editing, but she has art chops, working as an arts coordinator at schools, and working with visual arts programs. She loves connecting with artists, with galleries, and with local businesses. Now happily living in West Seattle, Mia sees the Art Walk is the perfect opportunity to take on new challenges and make a difference in the arts. You can reach Mia at mia@wsartwalk.org
Molly Ryan
Art Walk Deputy Director
Born and raised in Michigan, with a degree in Zoology concentration on Genetics from Michigan State University, Molly moved to West Seattle in 2014. She spends her days busy raising three kids (one at Madison, one at Genesee Hill, and one in Preschool at A Child Becomes), but her nights dreaming of the next painting she will start. After participating in the West Seattle Art Hop & Shop, she learned so much more about the business side and wanted to get more involved in the art community and started volunteering in WS Art Walk in 2023. She especially is working in engaging younger artists and volunteers and having schools in particular submit student artwork. She also helps volunteer for the West Seattle Junction activities in a similar role. You can reach her at: art.molly.ryan@gmail.com
Bev Hill
Blog Manager
Bev moved to West Seattle in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, and could only look longingly into storefront and restaurant windows during that time. As a child she lived in Australia, South America, the US Midwest and California. When she was 13 her family settled in Seattle, and she has lived in the Northwest ever since. Trained as an industrial designer, and practiced as an architectural lighting designer, she has long been appreciative of the visual arts. She now makes art in her own studio and can finally visit stores and get to know and enjoy the West Seattle community.
Meagan Loftin
Admiral Neighborhood Coordinator
Meagan has lived in the Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle since 2018. She joined Art Walk in 2022 after becoming involved with the Admiral Neighborhood Association. Meagan enjoys seeing our community come out to local businesses every month while supporting arts and artists on the peninsula. Meagan also volunteers with the Southwest Seattle Historical Society and enjoys fiber and textile crafts in her free time.

When not working at a local West Seattle school, Shoshannah can be found cooking up a feast, enjoying music at one of the many amazing venues in Seattle, or hard at work in her garden.
Helen Halpern

Helen is from Philadelphia originally and is now enjoying her home in West Seattle with her husband Steve, toddler Max and dog Nutmeg. She has been a lifelong art lover and traveler and is excited to be a part of the West Seattle Art Walk. She works as an occupational therapist and is always seeking new opportunities to learn and be inspired by art. She enjoys painting, reading, exploring new places and meeting new people, as well as gardening in her new West Seattle backyard.

Nancy is a 30-year resident of West Seattle who is excited to be part of the Art Walk team. She helps amplify our creative art community through writing and photography. Her day gig includes internal communications work and she spends most of her free time outside, with her husband and Corgi, hiking, biking, skiing and, of course, playing pickleball. Her next adventure is Vietnam!
Sarah Geissler
Social Media
Sarah made the cross-country move from her home state of Vermont to West Seattle in the summer of 2022 with her partner Charlie and dog Nelson. Sarah earned her undergraduate degrees in studio art and public health and focused mainly on the world of non-profits until she shifted her full focus onto her and Charlie’s small West Seattle business – Kingtide Ink. She is excited to become increasingly involved in the community she now calls home and to spread her love for art.
