Windermere West Seattle will be featuring art by D. Lisa West at August Art Walk tomorrow evening.
Artist Statement:
“I draw things everyday, sometimes to document a moment in time, sometimes to work out ideas for larger paintings. This collection of drawings and paintings feature drawings from an ocean trip, a European trip, and from everyday life in Seattle. The paintings are my newest still lives, featuring everyday items.”
D.Lisa West was born in Renton, Washington, the child of a cabinetmaker and a potter. A graduate of the Still life Atelier at Gage Academy of Art, she has shown her art around Seattle, and the Northwest.
