West 5 Restaurant & Lounge and Jazz Night School invite you to enjoy a free live performance from one of Seattle’s top-level, big band jazz groups, Big Band Blue. Led by Erik Hanson, Executive Director of Seattle’s Jazz Night School, Big Band Blue was launched in 2013 by band-directing icon, Hal Sherman as his final big band mentorship. Big Band Blue will be performing a lively set of music ranging from jazz standards and swing to new works from local composers/arrangers. The event is free and open to the public.
