Hello! My name is Brigid, and I love to paint colorful creatures and fantastic places! Most of my art is digital painting, but I also dabble in watercolor and ink from time to time. I’ve been drawing since I was a little kid (and using the same graphics tablet for over a decade at this point). Curious about digital art? I’ll be doing a live painting demo at West Seattle Cupcake Royale during the art walk, technology permitting. You can also find my gallery online at brigid.us

Brigid will be doing a live art piece during Artwalk!

amazing beauty and technical perfection. As an intern at the Friends of
Photography in Carmel he met additional artists who also inspired him
with their mastery and dedication.

Please join us at Viscon Cellars (5910 California Ave SW) this Thursday, October 12 for an interactive Art Walk evening with featured artist Pamela Resnick.

If you have ever wanted to try painting with oil paints, now is your chance. You will have the opportunity to paint on a 6”x6” piece of canvas with help and direction.

The subject matter is anything related to wine. There will be some images available to choose from, bring your own or just come paint the colors in abstract form or design. The goal is to get enough 6”x6” “wine” paintings so we can combine them all together into a large mosaic piece of artwork to commemorate the evening.

round_table_apron_detail

Joel Heflin’s recent work combines painting, furniture making, and picture framing as a meditative reflection on craftsmanship and fine art. Drawing on a  multi-disciplinary approach to art and craft, he explores the spiritual and tactile relationships between the light of painting and the figure of wood and the roles art and utility play in creating form and space.

Joel has exhibited artwork extensively on the West Coast, a founding member of the LA based artist collective Finishing School, and has worked as a fine picture framer for 15 years.
