Each member, Danielle Andress, Marissa Geoffroy, Amy Lange, and Tescia Seufferlein, maintain individual practices and collaborate on several projects each year. For this show, they created a series of banners by combining motifs, methods, and materials. Although diametrically different in presentation and appearance, all of the artists work in analog techniques to address current political and cultural issues.

About the Artist:
Lori Vonderhorst’s thoughtful compositions draw you into a world intimate with nature and abundant with personal symbolism. This award-winning artist’s paintings and mixed-media pieces are treasured by collectors across the country.
Graystone Mortgage: Works by Debbi Murray 5p-8p
Debbi Murray is an artist, graphic designer and avid mountain biker. She has a BFA from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia – an ant-sized town straddling the Potomac River. She grew up skittering from one place to another and suffers from “Peter Pan Syndrome” by never, ever, wanting to grow-up. She still loves crayons, kaleidoscopes and all things whimsical and small.
After 20 years as a graphic designer she decided to throw some paint on a canvas and see what was revealed. A passion for the freedom of creative expression and a fondness for the unexpected, drove her to pursue this direction.
Debbi lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and their 2 mischievous cats – Pepper and Dexter. When she’s not riding, painting or awaiting her muse, she combats artistic inertia with champagne and chocolate.
I paint from the inside out. Exploring emotional connections and the clash of light and dark, where shadows live within us.
Acrylics, markings and collage elements are combined to form layers and texture—creating an intricate landscape upon which concepts are expressed. I am drawn to vibrant color. I don’t shy away from the dark. Happy colors lurk and evoke the emotional struggle—a paradox united on canvas.
“Color creates channels of mood and is an expression of both the concrete and the vague. There is a deep connection with process and expression revealed in the juxtaposition of these two abstractions. A flexibility of both spirit and medium.”
Food and refreshments will provided. We look forward to seeing you!
