November Art Walk in Pictures

Art Walk is expanding and redefining itself. Just this month, we had one pop-up, a trunk show in a vintage camper, and the great use of a resident’s downstairs as the perfect art showcase. There were four group shows and the fourth Art of Music performance by Byron Street Swing at The Great American Diner. And did we mention that Admiral is on its way to becoming our next official Art Walk district? Look for the announcement at the beginning of January!

Perhaps the most interesting show of the entire evening was the black-lit body painting in traditional Ukrainian folk art, Petrykivka. It’s on display at Rosefit all month. And while you are there, you may want to give Candice Rose and her amazing workouts a try!

We want to thank all our generous partners for the support they bring the West Seattle Art Walk – The Office of Rebecca Mitsui, Verity Credit Union, Northwest Art & Frame, Canna West SeattleJohn L. Scott Real Estate,  Sound Credit Union and our media partner West Seattle Blog. Thank you, too, to the all artists, merchants, and restaurants/bars/cafes for making this monthly event happen. To you, art-seeker, thanks for being part of this community.

Here’s a small photo recap of Art Walk night for the month of November by volunteer photographers Todd M., Lora R., Janet L. and Reeve W. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
