Who might NEED a coloring book these days? You, your kiddo, your mom? The West Seattle Art Walk has just the thing for you! Our first online, printable coloring book!
With the help of our very talented Art Walk artists – and anyone who would like to submit their artwork – the West Seattle Arts Council is putting together a Facebook Album of coloring book pages that anyone can download. Families can share with their kids, or grownups can use for centering and creative meditation!
Do you like to draw? This is your chance to try your hand at black & white illustration, share that fab sketch you were always proud of, or create something new that tells your story of today. Send us your page to be part of the book!
All we need is a 8.5″ x 11″ jpeg of black line-art illustration on a white background, with vertical/portrait orientation. Be sure to add your name to the lower right-hand corner of the image area. Here are pages from Megan Simmons, Dani Dodge and Kelly Jackson as examples:
We will publish all pages to the West Seattle Art Walk Facebook page to share with our networks!
Please note: Coloring book artwork can be any concept, but needs to be family-friendly. The West Seattle Arts Council reserves judgment to exclude artwork for any reason.
Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2020
Fill out this short form online, where you can also upload your work.
We hope this is a way to brighten your day! Please let us know if you have any questions: wsartwalk@gmail.com
