Sing along with Hometown Holidays with our first-ever parody carol!

Our very talented “The Art of Music” project coordinator John Redenbaugh has created the first-ever parody carol to showcase West Seattle’s “Hometown Holidays!” It’s set to the traditional melody for “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and is destined to be a peninsula classic.

Have a listen to the music file, and enjoy the lyrics below!

The West Seattle Junction’s Set for Hometown Holidays

(Can be Sung to the tune of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”)

Lyrics by John Redenbaugh 2020

The West Seattle Junction’s set for Hometown Holidays,

With shopping opportunities, food choices many ways.

Your chance to make this year a Junction Christmas filled with praise,

Options for home delivery or shipped all for your ease,

Junction merchants provide service that will please.

Gift wrapping is available, appointments can be made,

Variety of stores to shop, gift choices are displayed,

For him and her, the children too so memories are made,

Shop the Junction for gifts to meet a need, gifts that exceed,

For a very, Merry Christmas year indeed.

So make this year a Junction Christmas shopping local here,

Enjoy a meal from restaurants via takeout filled with cheer,

And view online the Junction Gift Guide choices for those dear,

Gifts unique, and supporting merchants near, neighbors premier,

For your shopping to the Junction you should steer.
