The August 12 Art Walk was marked by strolling, catch-up chats, fun receptions of delicious food and drink (we’re talking about you, Resolve and Compass!), and an incredible range of beautiful arts, crafts and music (that’s you, WEND!). The heat was beat by those businesses with A/C, and the small breeze generated by brisk walking from one venue to the next. It was a summer celebration of the arts, and for that, we are so pleased.
We want to thank all our generous partners for the support they bring the West Seattle Art Walk – Verity Credit Union, Canna West Seattle, Brookdale Senior Living, Quail Park, Fogue Gallery and our media partner West Seattle Blog. Thank you, too, to the all artists, merchants, and restaurants/bars/cafes for making this monthly event happen. To you, art-seeker, thanks for being part of this community.
Here’s a small photo recap of Art Walk night for the month of August by volunteer photographers Carole B., Kate McN., Lora R., and Aaron McC. with LIVE Instagram videos. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
