Holiday Art Walk in Pictures

GENEROUS. That was the big idea from last night’s Art Walk. Merchants like Bin 41 and Jet City Labs hosting holiday pop-ups for other artists, writers, jewelry designers, woodcrafters and more! Holiday receptions like at Compass showing clients and Art Lovers how much they valued their support. Businesses and artists like Canna and Ellen Zrimsek at Row House giving back portions of sales or seeking donations for important charities. Musicians sharing their art with appreciative audiences as part of Art of Music at Copper Coin and Great American Diner & Bar. And we hope you crossed paths with Santa Claus, being generous with his candy canes!

For a cold night, West Seattle was out in force, from North to South, enjoying the art with a healthy side of late shopping opportunity. We saw smiles, linked arms, and cute dogs. We heard the giggles of a baby and the belly laughs of our favorite elf. It’s been quite the year for West Seattle, and also for Art Walk. As the old year tips to the new, we want you to know we couldn’t do it without you all – and we do it for you all, too!

We want to thank all our generous partners for the support they bring the West Seattle Art Walk – Dr. Michael Korn, DDS, The Good Society Brewery, Verity Credit UnionCanna West SeattleBrookdale Senior Living, Quail ParkFogue Gallery and our media partner West Seattle Blog.

Here’s a small photo recap of Art Walk night for the month of December by volunteer photographers John R., Jill M., Kate McN., and Sofia V. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
