Deadline for submissions: March 1, 2022
The West Seattle Arts Council is seeking artists to submit work for consideration for our upcoming digital and printed Art Walk promotional materials, second quarter of 2022 (April, May, June).
If selected, your artwork will be featured in our social media, on printed posters displayed around West Seattle in participating businesses, and on walking maps available at participating businesses. We also strive to have the featured artist show their art all three months at businesses around West Seattle. This is a great opportunity to have your work displayed and promoted in our community, like “Equisetum Returns MP#8,” by Ann Marie Schneider!

Deadline for submissions: March 1, 2022
Please submit work via this link.
Pro Tip: If you have submitted before (even recently, in 2022), or if you have new work, please feel free to submit again! All new submissions go into the newest, updated edition of our Artist Library which is shared with participating businesses hosting artists. We do not carry artists over from one quarter to the next.
Art Throughout West Seattle! Art Walk spans from Admiral Junction to Morgan Junction and beyond, so all throughout West Seattle are hubs of businesses and restaurants exhibiting art work or offering food and drink specials during Second Thursday Art Walk. Any art submitted in this Call for Artists will be shared with the participating businesses, broadening artists‘ reach and exposure!
A note about the selection process: The Council meets in-person or virtually every quarter to choose the next quarter’s artwork for the marketing collateral and plan for upcoming months. Artists whose work will be shown at a participating Art Walk venue during the next quarter will be given more consideration in the selection process – so be sure to let us know if you are already committed to a business for showing. Portrait-oriented images work best for the 11″x17″ posters. We are also looking for works that have a look or feel that is seasonal and family-friendly in nature. We reserve the right to choose the artwork at our discretion.
