We felt the sound waves of good vibes all around the Art exhibits in West Seattle, thanks to the Muse Fest musicians and hosting businesses! What a special evening brought to us by the incredible efforts of local musician Sue Quigley and The Art of Music volunteer John Redenbaugh. Their labors of love meant a very rich Art Walk experience last night. Did you also catch the music at WEND Space, thanks to their partnership with the City of Seattle program Shop to the Beat? So much wonderful sound, in addition to all the varied and beautiful art from Admiral through to Morgan Junctions! Graced by the magical new twinkling lights on the trees lining California Avenue.
The team of Art Walk photographers – six in total! – really enjoyed this month’s assignment of capturing the music as well as the art and artists. If you weren’t able to come out, we hope you take a moment to check out video clips and photos of the receptions below. Or, better yet, come see the shows yourself. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
We want to thank all our generous partners for the support they bring the West Seattle Art Walk – Dr. Michael Korn, DDS, The Good Society Brewery, Verity Credit Union, Canna West Seattle, Quail Park, Fogue Gallery, COMPASS Real Estate and our media partner West Seattle Blog.
Here’s a small photo recap of Art Walk night for the month of January by volunteer photographers Jill M., Dan J., Carole B., Jacquie S., Kate McN. and Reeve W. We couldn’t do this without you!
