The upcoming September 14 West Seattle Art Walk will feature Art of Music with events in the Admiral District and Alaska Junction!

September 14 Performer Guitar Gil @ CAPERS in the Alaska Junction. Guitar Gil performs rhythmic and melodic solo guitar arrangements of swing, Latin, jazz, rock and pop tunes and has performed throughout the Northwest for several decades.  The song arrangements in his repertoire are drawn from the music of Duke Ellington, Elton John, The Beatles, Jim Croce, Frank Sinatra, The Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, Peter Frampton, Nat King Cole, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and other great songwriters and performers of vintage pop tunes. Guitar Gil will be performing tunes from his debut album Dreamin’, available for streaming or downloading at www.guitargil.com. Click here to view Guitar Gil’s flyer.

September 14 Catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and soulful delivery; performer Trevor Ras @ Welcome Road Winery in the Admiral District. Funky beats and campfire sing-a-longs land Trevor’s music between Zac Brown, Van Morrison, and James Taylor. Drawing inspiration from sailing the islands of Puget Sound and the Gulf Islands, he’s come to view life as a seaborne adventure.  Where the musician meets the sea is where his 3rd solo album, Life at Sea was born. Click here to view Trevor Ras’ flyer.

Each musician will be performing family-friendly content for 90 minutes at their Art of Music event, from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm, with one 15-minute break at the midway point.
