Deadline is May 31, 2024!

Hello everyone! It’s time to select an artist for our Summer 2024 quarterly marketing materials (July, August, September). We invite our artists to send material that they consider to be an expression of the season, that will have staying power (since it is used for three months), and is family friendly. Over 50 businesses participate in Art Walk, some exhibiting art and others offering food and drink specials. West Seattle comes alive in the summer and your art will get plenty of views, especially during SummerFest.

If selected, your artwork will be featured in our social media, on printed posters displayed around West Seattle in participating businesses, and on walking maps available at participating businesses. We also strive to have the featured artist show their art all three months at businesses around West Seattle. This is a great opportunity to have your work displayed and promoted in our community, like “Transat,” by Aude Arutunian in Q2!

Portrait-oriented images work best for our posters.

The next poster could feature your art!

The West Seattle Art Walk is powered by businesses from Admiral Junction to Morgan Junction and beyond. Retail, service, food and drink establishments – something for everyone!

Please submit to this link. Deadline is May 31, 2024.

All artists who share work will have the option to be featured in our quarterly Artist Library, which is shared with businesses who are looking for an artist to show each month.

If your art is not poster-oriented, but you would like it included in our Artist Library, please use the same Call for Artists form.

Please note: We will be closing our Call after May 31 and will prepare our Artist Library based on those who submitted their work for the Call. We welcome new submissions for the 2024 Q4 Call starting on August 1.

Pro Tip: If you have submitted before (even recently, like earlier in 2024), or if you have new work, please feel free to submit again! All new submissions go into the newest, updated edition of our Artist Library which is shared with participating businesses hosting artists. Remember: Portraitoriented images work best for our posters.
