Belle Shea is an independent alternative songwriter in Brooklyn, NY. Her music has been called “a masterclass in vulnerability” (B Side Guys) and comes recommended by Steve Ferrone, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer on his SIRIUSXM radio show (“Go listen to it. You’ll remember it.”). Part of the Breedlove Guitars Pro Artist program, she has been featured as one of the Official Bands at NAMM ’25, at Ladybug Music Festival 2025, in American Songwriter magazine as the winner of the “May Flowers” feature and again as one of the top 25 songs of the 2023 Song Contest.
Selena Tibert is an alternative folk artist and musician based in Brooklyn, New York. Grounded in expertly crafted musical arrangements with a clear, rich vocal, her songs pulse with modern jazz and 70s folk influence. In June of 2024, Selena Tibert released her debut EP, The Fool. The record was produced, arranged, and engineered entirely by Tibert, and received praise across independent music media: York Calling dubbed it “a triumph, expertly bringing together emotional stories with unconventional instrumental arrangements.”
Together, Belle Shea and Selena Tibert play nuanced, lyrical arrangements that emphasize each others’ strengths. They play a blend of alternative rock/folk music with weaving harmonies, introspective lyricism, and rich doubled guitars. They have shared the stage at Ladybug Festival 2025 (featuring only women-fronted artists) and as part of their four-part all-girl Americana band The Diamond Spur Rodeo.

Performing Jazz Standards, Old Standards, and Latin Gems With a Wide Range of Individual Expression and Group Interplay
Click here for a video of the Westside Jazz Trio performing. Click here for the Westside Jazz Trio poster.
The Westside Jazz Trio has been performing every Monday at The Alley in the Junction for over two years. Small group improvisation with careful listening offers these experienced musicians a wide range of individual expression and group interplay. Repertoire includes jazz standards from the greats (Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter), old standards, and Latin gems (Antonio Carlos Jobim).
Guitarist Bruce Barnard, originally from the Detroit area, earned a BA in Fine Arts/Jazz Guitar from Oakland University where he became an active voice on the local scene. After relocating to Seattle in the early 1980’s, he taught privately and at Shoreline CC. Adept at many styles, Bruce has performed in dance/party bands, small jazz groups, with vocalists, and as a soloist. He is a co-founder of the Seattle Jazz Guitar Society, which hosts monthly jam sessions for its members. Bruce plays two types of guitars in the trio. In addition to straight-ahead jazz using an archtop electric guitar, Bruce’s interest in Brazilian and Cuban music showcases his skill with the nylon string guitar.
Michael Olivola is a bassist who’s been performing in the Pacific Northwest for the last seven years. He previously lived and played music in New York, San Francisco and New Mexico. Some of the well-known musicians he has worked with include Larry Coryell, Onaje Allan Gumbs, Mike Clark, Charlie Palmieri, Eddie Daniels, Kenny Davern, Rita Moreno, and Charo, to name a few.
From an early age, Jeff Ferguson has yearned to spend time in the company of musicians. A self-educated practitioner of the American drum set*, Jeff has to date, mastered the single ratamacue, double paradiddle and flamtap. Diligent, focused practice has brought him to the brink of mastering the classic “Wipe Out” drum solo, still a work in progress. He long ago learned the importance of proper technique, realizing that it’s not about pounding the drums, or even beating them, but instead slamming them. Jeff’s skill with drum slamming has enabled him to hang out with many musicians over the years, usually for one performance at a time.
