Mary McPage & Jevon Powell have been making music together for over 20 years.  McPage & Powell make just plain good music! Sometimes acoustic, sometimes electric, sometimes both! Their covers song are timeless favorites, party dance hits, and sing alongs.  McPage & Powell are far from your typical bar band … The duo are the core of a sometimes six piece full on band, incorporating Acoustic & Electric Guitars, harmonica, acoustic & electric bass, backing vocals & percussion/drums, with even a Ukulele and a Kazoo tossed in the mix.  Mary McPage is a Washington Blues Society Best of the Blues (BB) Award winner, taking home Female Vocalist in 2023, Performer of the Year in 2009. The McPage & Powell Acoustic Duo was awarded a BB Award for Best Solo/Duo in 2023, and Best Graphic in 2009 for the cover of the band’s album Drink with the Band.  Cumulatively, the band has 25 BB Award Nominations ranging from Best Female Vocalist, Best Songwriter(s), Best Guitar (Electric and Acoustic), Best Harmonica, Best Bass, Best Drums, and Best CD(s).
