Twas a festive evening for December 11 Art Walk, with an abundance of art to peruse, gifts to inspire, and of course music, food and drink for merry making throughout our wonderful WS community.
Our last Art of Music of the year featured Friends and Folk @ West Seattle Grounds, CenterPlay @ Great American Diner & Bar, jean mann @ Beveridge Place Pub.
In Admiral Neighborhood, Brittany Noelle displayed PNW themed photography at WS Grounds. Tanner Whitney’s hand-drawn cartography was up at The Good Society. Leslie Nan Moon shared her vivid linocut works that celebrate Pacific Northwest themes and local landmarks at Wend. Nook Studio’s Limited Collection 01 explored material, structure, permanence and scarcity at Jett City Architecture and Design
In Alaska Junction Dennis Haugen displayed the art of the moment at John L. Scott. Gloria Breslin’s whimsical watercolors were on display at Verity. Diane Bellisario, Vanessa Lanza, and Jimmy Ulvene had a group show at the ever popular Capers Home. John McLellan showed breathtaking landscape photography at ArtsWest.
At Windermere, a joyous group show featured Tom Costantini’s fun watercolors alongside ceramic artists Jody Wally and Christian Pearson, Paula’s organic soaps, and Peggy Nelson‘s paper mache’ art! The 206 Makers’ Market hosted poster artist Dan Jacobs among many others at Jet City Labs. Tyson Foster’s abstract eye candy was featured at Junction 47.
In Morgan Junction, Alki Arts hosted a wonderous treasure trove of small works, perfect as gifts for the season. Kirsten Sparenborg unique and detailed map designs were on display at Inner Space Designs, and The Building opened three artists studios for the community.
