Art of Music @ September Art Walk

Coming soon to a plaza near you: The Art of Music will be back at the West Seattle Art Walk in September! Thanks to the passion and drive of project coordinator John Redenbaugh, the Second Thursday Art of Music events from September through December have qualified for a smART Ventures grant from the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture. This means the KeyBank plaza will be home to four more tuneful evenings to complement Art Lovers’ strolling!

The next performance in the series will be on Thursday, September 12, and features the acoustic duo Jack Bradbury and Susan Denini, performing together as My Real Job. Melding covers of Blues, Soul, Rock and Indie favorites with just a guitar and a voice, they convey timeless stories and melodies that will linger long after the final note fades.

“…vocals that can lie amongst the clouds with the saints or in the rich delta mud… guitar work that can elicit a whiskey drenched bar room or a reverent moment in the choir loft with the flick of a finger.”

My Real Job will perform two family-friendly 45-minute sets starting at 6pm and finishing at 7:40pm, with a 5-10 minute break between.

Learn more about the September 12 performance at our Facebook Event.

Mark your calendars! At the Thursday, October 10, Art Walk, vocalist Roz McCommon will be accompanied by classical guitar/bass for a mellow artsy soundtrack.

Art of Music is a presentation in conjunction with the West Seattle Junction Association and has partial funding by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture.
