Art of Music @ December Art Walk

Jazz bass playing with an infectious feeling of joy! The Art of Music is back for its final 2019 performance at the West Seattle Art Walk December 12, thanks to the passion and drive of project coordinator John Redenbaugh. These Second Thursday Art of Music events running from September through December are ours to enjoy thanks to John’s smART Ventures grant from the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture. We love our art with a side of music!

Marina Christopher makes playing bass and singing look absolutely effortless. She was voted Emerging Artist of 2017 by Earshot Jazz Magazine. Her band Marina and the Dreamboats went home as Grand Prize Winners at the 2019 Hard Rock Seattle Battle of the Bands. Make sure to go see the artist The Seattle Times called one “you should get to know.”

“Marina Christopher has developed into a multi-talented, highly in-demand artist on the Seattle jazz scene.” 88.5 KNKX host Abe Beeson
