The upcoming June 9 West Seattle Art Walk kicks off the beginning of a new season of Art of Music with events both in Admiral and the Alaska Junction!
-
Americana/folk/rock artist Sue Quigley @ KeyBank in the Alaska Junction. With her extensive touring background including local solo shows at the Showbox, Tractor Tavern, and The Crocodile as well as the headliner for the half-time show for Seattle Storm, Sue is a performer not to miss. Her hit song “Paper Tiger” was named runner-up for Song of the Year. “There is a wisdom in the words of Sue Quigley as she delivers her stories in a deep resonance that rings in a confidence that breeds trust in the tales.” – Alternate Root Click here for Sue’s flyer
-
PNW singer-songwriter Paul Gerard @ West Seattle Grounds. Paul’s smooth vocals bring to life the PNW landscape and evoke a deep connection between nature and music. “Paul Gerard’s songs are filled with perspective and thought about protecting endangered species and raising awareness about the world that exists around us.” – K. Wright, DJ The Mountain, Seattle, WA Click here for Paul’s flyer

Music can evoke passion, emotion, and joy. The Art of Music provides an opportunity for aspiring musicians to combine the appreciation of visual arts with the appreciation of musical expression. This special event, presented by the West Seattle Junction Association, was created to complement Art Walk for the benefit of ALL Art Lovers.
