July Art Walk in Pictures

West Seattle was humming with positive energy for the July Art Walk on the Eve of Summerfest! Streets were closed in preparation for the coming events, and restaurants were abustle with patrons enjoying the magic of outdoor dining. Art Walkers dutifully consulted their printed Art Walk maps as they perused the local businesses to ensure that nothing was missed.

There was a great showing for Art of Music Harpist Alyvia Miller who serenaded a crowd of listeners and imbibers at Welcome Road Winery with both her lovely music and engaging conversation. Renowned Balafon player Naby Camera and crew represented Art of Music as well over at KeyBank Plaza with a rhythm and tone that captured the summertime feels of the evening.

West Seattle welcomed new business Good Sister, who in turn embraced Art Walk with lots of energy and excitement for the evening. Over at Fogue Gallery, festivities were in full swing as well-wishers bid farewell to the brick-and-mortar gallery. There was live music and bubbly and the art was selling fast! Canna West Seattle offered showings both at their Culture Shop and dispensary. Artists and merchants were so generous with their time to answer questions, and all were eager to discuss their art!

The team of Art Walk photographers did a wonderful job of capturing the ambiance as well as the art and artists. If you weren’t able to come out, we hope you take a moment to check out video clips and photos of the receptions below. Or, better yet, come see the shows yourself. Most of the artwork featured will be up all month long, so do find time to visit these venues.
